Hello Jugger World ! We are proud to announce that the 2nd Edition of the Tournoilloween of Paris will take place Saturday, October 19, 2019 ! This competition is open to all teams, whether skilled or new. General Informations ---------------------------------------- 10 Teams can participate on the tournament and the Mecan’Hydra will be designate as the organizer team The Tournament will take place on the Plaine de Jeux du Polygone, into the Vincennes Woods, East of Paris. The field is accessible by public transport, you will have to take the Subway Line 1, to the Terminus Station of Chateau de Vincennes, from which you will switch to the Bus 112 and stop at the Station Plaine de la Faluere; the trip from the terminus station is around 10 minutes long. For those who travel by car there will be a parking nearby the tournament area. The official address : Route de la Pyramide, 75012, Paris Organization ---------------------------------------- The tournament will take place during the entire Saturday from 10:00 to 18:00, including a lunch break between 12:00 and 13:00. The field will open at 9:00, all teams will have to present themselves to the organizers to register, and submit their equipment to security check. We ask of all players to be responsible and make sure their weapons are secured before the official check, therefore we will not allow insecure and non-compliant Pompfens. For this tournament, we’ll be using the German rulebook, and the Irish Referee system. Locker rooms, toilets, and showers, will be at the disposal of all participants. Catering ---------------------------------------- Everyone will have access to fruits, pancakes, tea and coffee during the entire day, plus a six pack of water for every team; please tell us in advance if some of you are vegetarians, vegan, gluten intolerant and other food incompatibilities, so that we can cook the perfect pancakes ! Since we are not allowed to manage a grill or cook meal on the field, we ask all the participants to bring their own food for the lunch break. Accommodation ---------------------------------------- Since we are a small club, we won’t be able to host every teams at our personal places, and so we direct you to local youth hostels and AirBnBs; we leave at your disposal a list of affordable places to settle for the week-end. Camping is not allowed on the tournament field Cost ---------------------------------------- The tournament fee is 18 € per team. To confirm your participation, please send us your fee as soon as possible before the 14th of October.
