Dear Teams,

The WCC 2026 is now a month behind us, so enough time has passed for everyone to settle back into daily life.
We also took things a bit more quietly afterwards, which is why we are only getting back to you now with the following topics:

1. Call for Donations
The budget for the WCC 2026 was calculated very tightly. Sponsors and grant funding were hard to come by during this period, and the infrastructure at Sportpark Ostra posed additional challenges. All in all, expenses kept popping up here and there, or ultimately turned out slightly higher than originally assumed. Although we had anticipated early on that we might need to use our team’s savings if necessary, even with those we ended up around €600 in deficit.

If you enjoyed the WCC 2026 and have a little left over to support us, we would appreciate every cent that brings us closer to balancing the books or even relieves the burden on our department account. You are welcome to donate here until 30 November 2026:

2. Lost & Found
If you haven’t already come across this via the other channels, here is another reminder about the lost & found items. If you recognize anything that belongs to you, please contact us by email/contact form or directly reach out to Nils (via Discord, WhatsApp, etc.). We cannot promise that we will ship packages internationally, but we may be able to arrange something in the long term.

4. Feedback Survey
Now it’s your turn! With a few weeks’ distance, we would like to hear your feedback. What did you like, what could we improve, what exceeded your expectations?

5. Merch Shop
The merch shop will remain open at least until the end of the year, and probably longer beyond that. We will inform you via this mailing list at least one month before the shop closes. Even now, we are still happy to develop specific merch items on request, as long as our capacities and the shop’s selection allow it ;)


With this, we say goodbye to a great season and, from our point of view, a wonderful event.
Thank you very much for traveling from all over the world and making this tournament a special experience for us and everyone involved.

die WCC 2026 ist nun einen Monat her, sodass genug Zeit vergangen ist, um wieder im Alltag anzukommen.
Wir haben es danach auch etwas ruhiger angehen lassen, deshalb melden wir uns erst jetzt wieder mit folgenden Themen.

1. Spendenaufruf

Die Kalkulation für die WCC 2026 war ziemlich eng gefasst, Sponsoren und Fördergelder sind in dieser Zeit schwer zu finden und die Infrastruktur im Sportpark Ostra hat uns zusätzliche Hürden auferlegt. Unterm Strich kamen hier und da immer wieder in paar Ausgaben dazu oder wurden am Ende etwas größer als ursprünglich angenommen. Wir hatten zwar schon frühzeitig damit gerechnet, die Ersparnisse unseres Teams notfalls dafür aufzuwenden, aber selbst mit diesen sind wir am Ende etwa 600€ im Minus.
Wenn euch die WCC 2026 gefallen hat und ihr noch etwas übrig habt, um uns zu unterstützen, freuen wir uns über jeden Cent, der uns näher an den Ausgleich bringt oder gar unser Abteilungskonto entlastet. Bis zum 30.11.2026 könnt ihr gern hier spenden:

2. Fundsachen

Wenn ihr über die anderen Kanäle nicht bereits darauf gestoßen seid, findet ihr hier noch einmal die Fundsachen. Wenn ihr etwas erkennt, was euch gehört, meldet euch bei uns per Mail/Kontaktformular oder direkt bei Nils (via Discord, WhatsApp, etc.). Wir können nicht versprechen, dass wir international Pakete versenden werden, aber eventuell lässt sich langfristig etwas einrichten.

Außerdem wird noch eine Edelstahl-Trinkflasche von Wildbär vermisst. Scheinbar wurde eine sehr ähnliche am Samstag Abend bei den Fundsachen aufgefunden. Solltet ihr eine solche Flasche haben, schaut bitte noch einmal nach, ob es wirklich eure ist und meldet euch im Zweifelsfall bei uns.


3. Fotos & Videos

Uns haben einige Fotosammlungen erreicht, die wir euch natürlich nicht vorenthalten wollen.

4. Feedbackumfrage

Jetzt seid ihr gefragt! Mit ein paar Wochen Abstand wollen wir gern noch euer Feedback hören. Wie hat es euch gefallen, was können wir besser machen, was hat eure Erwartungen übertroffen?
Aus dieser Umfrage können wir und auch andere für zukünftige Turniere lernen.

5. Merch-Shop

Der Merch-Shop wird noch mindestens bis zum Ende des Jahres, vermutlich noch länger darüber hinaus geöffnet sein. Wir werden euch wenigstens einen Monat vor Schließung des Shops über diesen Mail-Verteiler informieren. Auch jetzt noch gilt, wir entwickeln gern noch gezielt Merch-Artikel auf Anfrage, solang unsere Kapazitäten und die Auswahl im Shop es hergeben ;)


Damit verabschieden wir uns aus einer großartigen Saison und einem von unserer Seite aus tollen Event.
Vielen Dank, dass ihr aus aller Welt angereist sind und dieses Turnier zu einem besonderen Erlebnis für uns und alle Beteiligten gemacht habt.

La WCC 2026 ya hace un mes que terminó, así que ha pasado tiempo suficiente para que todos volvamos a la rutina diaria.
También lo tomamos con más calma después del evento, por eso nos ponemos en contacto con vosotros ahora con los siguientes temas:

1. Llamada a donaciones
El presupuesto de la WCC 2026 se calculó de forma bastante ajustada. En este periodo fue difícil encontrar patrocinadores y ayudas económicas, y la infraestructura del Sportpark Ostra nos supuso obstáculos adicionales. En resumen, aquí y allá fueron apareciendo gastos o, al final, resultaron algo mayores de lo previsto inicialmente. Aunque ya habíamos previsto desde el principio que, si era necesario, tendríamos que utilizar los ahorros de nuestro equipo, incluso con ellos acabamos con un déficit de unos 600 €.

Si os gustó la WCC 2026 y os sobra algo para apoyarnos, agradecemos cada céntimo que nos acerque al equilibrio o incluso alivie la cuenta de nuestro departamento. Podéis hacer vuestras donaciones aquí hasta el 30 de noviembre de 2026:

2. Objetos perdidos
Si aún no os habéis topado con esto por los otros canales, aquí tenéis de nuevo los objetos perdidos. Si reconocéis algo que os pertenezca, contactad con nosotros por correo/formulario de contacto o directamente con Nils (por Discord, WhatsApp, etc.). No podemos prometer que enviaremos paquetes a nivel internacional, pero a lo largo del tiempo quizás podamos organizar algo.

4. Encuesta de valoración
¡Ahora os toca a vosotros! Con unas semanas de distancia, nos gustaría conocer vuestra opinión. ¿Qué os gustó, qué podríamos mejorar, qué superó vuestras expectativas?
De esta encuesta podemos aprender, tanto nosotros como otros, para futuros torneos.

5. Tienda de merchandising
La tienda de merchandising permanecerá abierta al menos hasta final de año, y probablemente más tiempo después. Os informaremos a través de esta lista de correo al menos un mes antes de cerrar la tienda. Incluso ahora seguimos abiertos a desarrollar artículos de merchandising concretos bajo petición, siempre que nuestras capacidades y la selección de la tienda lo permitan ;)


Con esto nos despedimos de una temporada fantástica y de un evento que, desde nuestro punto de vista, fue genial.
Muchas gracias por haber viajado desde todo el mundo y haber convertido este torneo en una experiencia especial para nosotros y para todos los participantes.

DENKT AN SCHÜSSEL UND LÖFFEL - ES WIRD NUR MÜSLI ZUM FRÜHSTÜCK GEBEN!

Turnierplan:
Da wir nur 11 Anmeldungen haben, spielen wir den Turnierplan von letztem Jahr.
Das heißt:
Round Robin (alle gegen alle) mit Zeitslots
Es gibt 3 Brackets (top, mid, low)
Spiele gegen das gleiche Bracket dauern länger (40 min/1 Satz bis 12)
Spiele gegen andere Brackets etwas kürzer (25 min/1 Satz bis 8)
zwischen den Spielen ca. 10 min. Pause

Wir haben die Brackets vorläufig wie folgt aufgeteilt - meldet euch bitte, falls wir da noch etwas tauschen sollen
Top: Micks-Team, Schicksal, FKK, Bääm!
Mid: Rams, NSA, Wadenbeisser, Blutgrätsche
Low: Likedeeler, CxM, Summ, Freilos

Im Freilos-Team dürfen alle mitspielen, die möchten. Es können auch Teamlose Personen einzeln dafür anreisen (kommt auf uns zu).

We have created an overview map for you and hope it will help you find your way around:

Since this tournament is not solely focused on the sporting aspect, but also aims to bring the international community closer together, we have reserved the Fährgarten Johannstadt for Friday and Saturday evening. We can meet there from 7:00 p.m. onwards for some relaxed socializing. You can find the menu at Link under “Catering.”

If possible, please bring your own plates, cups, and cutlery for breakfast. Remember to bring some cash for drinks and the food trucks on site.

Here is some brief information from our pompfens check team:

Update on the pompfens check
Primary: Thursday, 11:00 a.m.–10:30 p.m.
Secondary: Friday, 7:30–8:30 a.m.
Tertiary: Any time after that

The terms mean:
Primary: Full setup, with several return stations.
Secondary: Full setup, with one return station.
Tertiary: The pompfens check has been partially dismantled; checks will be carried out whenever someone has the capacity to do so.

Da dieses Turnier nicht ausschließlich dem sportlichen Aspekt gewidmet ist, sondern wir auch die internationale Community näher zusammenbringen wollen, haben wir für Freitag und Samstag Abend den Fährgarten Johannstadt reserviert. Dort können wir uns ab 19 Uhr zum entspannten Socializing treffen. Eine Speisekarte findet ihr unter Link bei der Verpflegung.

Bringt für das Frühstück bitte wenn möglich eigenes Geschirr und Besteck mit. Denkt an etwas Bargeld für Getränke und Foodtrucks vor Ort.

Dado que este torneo no está dedicado exclusivamente al aspecto deportivo, sino que también queremos acercar a la comunidad internacional, hemos reservado el Fährgarten Johannstadt para el viernes y el sábado por la noche. Podremos reunirnos allí a partir de las 19:00 para socializar tranquilamente. Encontraréis el menú en Link, en el apartado «Comida y bebida».

Primaria: jueves, de 11:00 a 22:30.
