News for the upcoming 2nd Austrian Jugger Open!

Location is at Pehamgasse 6, 1220 Vienna.
There will be drinks for purchase for 1€ (sparkling water, icetea) and 2€ (beer) at a small shop net to the pitch. We will serve breakfast on both game days. For the bbq on Saturday you have to bring your own food. Coal and the grill itself is at the location.
Bring swimwear because we have a swimming pool and lake there.

Food stores nearby:
- Hofer on Leopoldauer Str. 22 in Gerasdorf (opened Fri 8AM-8PM, Sat 8AM-6PM)
- Stastnik Markt (Meat) on Industriestraße 5 (opened only Fri 8AM-6PM)

in knapp vier Wochen ist es soweit! Das 2nd Austrian Jugger Open findet am 11. und 12. August in Wien am Gelände des SC Süßenbrunn (Pehamgasse 6, 1220 Wien) statt.

Updates als Zusammenfassung:
- Camping von Freitag bis Montag (Abreise Vormittag) möglich
- Pompfencheck nach deutschem Regelwerk 2018!
- Verpflegung beinhaltet Frühstück für Samstag und Sonntag, Obst und Wasser für die Teams und kleine selbstgemachte Snacks
- Lebensmittelmarkt gibt es in 5 Autominuten Entfernung (für Grillbares etc. zum Einkaufen), sonntags geschlossen
- Am Turnierstandort gibt es ein kleines Kiosk mit Snacks und Getränken (Bezahlung in Euro)
- Ein Grill ist vorhanden (Grillbares ist selbst mitzubringen)

Updates im Detail:
- Die Anreise ist ab Freitagnachmittag möglich. Das Campen (im Startgeld enthalten!) ist auch noch von Sonntag bis Montag möglich. Abreise ist bis 10 Uhr. Die Parkplätze und Campingflächen sind von uns ausgeschildert!
- Wir spielen nach dem deutschen Regelwerk 2018. Die Maße für die Pompfen werden beim Pompfencheck als Mindestmaß bzw. Maximalmaß herangezogen. Soll heißen, die Schlagfläche MUSS einen MINDESTdurchmesser von 6cm haben, das Ende einen MINDESTdurchmesser von 7cm haben. Dasselbe gilt für die Längen der einzelnen Pompfen! Bitte nehmt deshalb auch unbedingt Material für eventuelle Ausbesserungen mit. Mit diesen Regeln für den Pompfencheck soll die Sicherheit gewährleistet und ein fairer Wettbewerb geboten werden. Checkt also vor dem Turnier nochmal eure Pompfen.
- Wir werden ein Frühstück für Samstag und Sonntag organisieren. Obst, vor allem Bananen, werden euch während dem Turnier Kraft geben. Jedes Team bekommt 6x1,5l Flaschen Wasser. Generell ist in Österreich das Leitungswasser aber Trinkwasser und kann unbedenklich getrunken werden.
- Der nächste Lebensmittelmarkt Hofer (Aldi) befindet sich in der Leopoldauer Str. 22 in Gerasdorf bei Wien und hat am Samstag von 8-18 Uhr geöffnet. Außerdem befindet sich ein Stastnik Markt (Fleischgroßmarkt) in der Industriestraße 5 in Gerasdorf bei Wien. Dieser hat allerdings nur Mo-Fr von 8-18 Uhr geöffnet. Kühlschränke sind am Veranstaltungsort vorhanden.
- Der Besitzer des Veranstaltungsortes wird gegen kleines Geld Getränke und Snacks an einem Kioks direkt anbieten. Bezahlung in Euro.
- Ein Grill steht direkt neben dem Veranstaltungsgelände, die Kohle wird von uns zur Verfügung gestellt, das Essen müsst ihr mitbringen.

only one month till the 2nd Austrian Jugger Open finally takes place on 11th and 12th of August in Vienna at the pitch of „SC Süßenbrunn“ (Pehamgasse 6, 1220 Wien).

Updates as summary:
- Camping is allowed from Friday till Monday (departure at forenoon)
- „pompfencheck“/„weaponscheck“ will be held according to the German ruleset 2018!
- we will organize breakfast for Saturday and Sunday, fruits, small selfmade snacks water for the teams.
- a grocery store is 5 min by car (for buying bbq or anything els you need), closed on Sunday
- there is a grill/bbq at the location (bring your own food)

- directly at the location there is a small shop serving drinks and snacks for little money (payment in Euro)

Updates in detail:
- Arrival is possible earliest Friday noon. Camping (included in the fee!) is allowed till Monday morning (departure at 10 AM). The parking and camping area will be displayed by our staff.
- We will play with the German ruleset 2018. The measurements of the pompfen are minima and maxima which means, the padded striking zone MUST have a diameter of 6cm, the end of the padded striking zone MUST be at least 7cm wide. Same goes for the length of the pompfe but serve as maximum measurements.

Please bring material to change your pompfen if needed with you. We want to ensure safety and fair play with these rules. Please check your pompfen prior to the tournament accordingly.
- We will serve breakfast on Saturday and Sunday. There will be bananas and selfmade snacks too. Each team will get 6x1,5l bottles of water. In Austria tab water is drinkable and can be refilled without doubt.
- The nearest grocery store is within 5 minutes by car and is called „Hofer“ in Leopoldauer Str. 22 in Gerasdorf bei Wien and is opened from 8AM till 6PM on Saturday. There is a meat-shop called „Stastnik Markt“ too in Industriestraße 5 in Gerasdorf bei Wien but is only opened workdays from 8AM to 6 PM. We have fridges at the location.
- The owner of the location will sell snacks and drinks for little money direktly at the site. Only pay in Euros.
- there is a grill/bbq right next to the pitch. You will have to bring your own food but we have coal to share.

2nd Austrian Jugger Open / 2nd AJO

Hallo allerseits :-)
Es gibt ein großes Update Hier die wichtigsten Infos zum Turnier und Fragen unsererseits.

Jedes Team schreibt bitte bis 30.06. 2018 ein Mail an vienna@jugger.at und beantwortet folgende Fragen:


1. Sind unter den Teilnehmern ausgebildete Sanitäter?

2. Können Male mitgenommen werden?

3. Wie viele Personen fahren auf das Turnier?

4. Wie viele davon sind Vegetarier/Veganer?

1. Teilnahmebedingungen:
Zum Turnier werden alle Jugger, die das 14. Lebensjahr vollendet haben, zugelassen. Alle Spieler, die noch nicht volljährig sind, bringen bitte zur Anmeldung eine Einwilligung des Erziehungsberechtigten mit. Sollten wir während des laufenden Spieltages bemerken, dass ein Teilnehmer jünger als 14 Jahre ist, werden wir sie/ihn von den folgenden Spielen ausschließen.

Im Zuge der Veranstaltung werden Fotos und Videos von den Teilnehmern gemacht. Mit der Anmeldung zum Turnier geben die Teilnehmer ihre ausdrückliche Einwilligung, dass dieses Material von Seiten der Organisation in Print- sowie Onlinemedien, sozialen Netzwerken veröffentlicht und verwendet werden darf. Dritte dürfen das veröffentlichte Material mit dem Verweis auf den Urheber auf sozialen Netzwerken verwenden.

Am ersten Turniertag wird zusätzlich eine Einverständniserklärung von jedem Teilnehmer eingeholt. Das Verletzungsrisiko trägt der Teilnehmer.

2. Kosten:

Der Sockelbetrag (Startgeld für 5 Personen) beträgt 60 Euro. In den Kosten sind die Teilnahmegebühren, Zeltplatz, Verpflegung (zu welchem Grad wird zurzeit geprüft) enthalten.

Der Sockelbetrag wird nach der Zahlung nicht rückerstattet. Alle Teams, die bis zum 30.06.2018 den Sockelbetrag nicht überwiesen haben, machen automatisch Platz für die Teams auf der Warteliste. Die Teilnahmegebühr pro weiteren Spieler betragen 12 Euro und sind bei der Anreise / Anmeldung zu bezahlen.



3. Standort & Erreichbarkeit

Das Turnier findet am Sportplatz des SC Süßenbrunn (Pehamgasse 6, 1220 Wien, Österreich) statt. Der Sportplatz ist vom S-Bahn-Haltestelle „Süßenbrunn“ zu Fuß innerhalb von 12 Minuten erreichbar. Der Eingang befindet sich auf der hinteren Seite des Platzes. Gespielt wird auf einem Fußball-Rasenplatz.

Infrastruktur vor Ort:
- Naturasenplatz

- Umkleiden mit Duschen

- WCs

- Parkplatz

- Zeltplatz (Camping direkt neben dem Turnierplatz möglich, im Startgeld inbegriffen)

- Badesee (5 Gehminuten entfernt)

- Grill

- Platzregeln:

- Kunststoff-Stollenschuhe sind erlaubt

- Eisenstollen sind verboten

- Drogenkonsum ist strikt verboten

- Glasflaschen sind verboten

- ab 20 Uhr muss der Geräuschpegel aus Lärmschutzgründen gegenüber den Nachbarn im Veranstaltungsbereich auf Zimmerlautstärke reduziert werden

Bitte sorgt bitte dafür, dass möglichst viele Pompfen bereits am Freitag bei der Anmeldung gecheckt sind.





5. Regelwerk

Wir spielen nach dem aktuellen deutschen Juggerregelwerk von 2018. Eine aktualisierte Version in den Sprachen Deutsch, Englisch und Spanisch findet ihr unter https://www.jugger.org/downloads. Eventuelle Ergänzungen und Änderungen, auch bezogen auf den Pompfencheck, teilen wir euch rechtzeitig im entsprechenden Thread im Event-Forum mit.

7. Söldner & Sonstiges

Wenn ihr als Söldner aufs Turnier kommen wollt oder noch Söldner für euer Team benötigt, findet ihr einen fixierten Beitrag auf der Facebook-Seite des Turniers (https://www.facebook.com/events/1842912289116384/).
Am Samstagabend ist eine Grillerei nach den Spielen geplant. Außerdem befindet sich in 5 Gehminuten Entfernung ein Badesee, wo man sich abkühlen kann.



8. Hinweise zur Datenschutz-Grundverordnung (DSGVO)

a. Das 2nd AJO ist keine kommerzielle Veranstaltung. Die organisatorischen Arbeiten werden in unserer Freizeit erledigt. Eure Daten werden nicht nicht ohne eure Zustimmung weitergegeben. Details findet ihr in den nachfolgenden Punkten.



b. Gespeicherte Informationen:

Wir speichern nur jene Informationen, die für die Organisation der Veranstaltung und der Kommunikation dieser dienen. Dafür benötigen wir eine E-Mail-Kontaktadresse und Namen, in besonderen Fällen auch eine Telefonnummer. Eure Daten werden vom Verein nicht ohne euer vorheriges Einverständnis weitergegeben.



c. Empfänger:

Der Empfänger, welcher diese E-Mail direkt von vienna@jugger.at erhalten hat, hat zuvor sein Einverständnis für das Erhalten von Neuigkeiten im Bezug auf das Turnier. Wenn dies nicht der Fall sein sollte, ist ein Fehler aufgetreten und ihr solltet nicht Empfänger sein. Bitte teilt uns dies mit und nehmt unsere Entschuldigung an. Natürlich könnt ihr euch auch von dem Newsletter abmelden bzw. die Löschung eurer gespeicherten Informationen abmelden. Dies führt unweigerlich zu einem Kommunikationsproblem.



d. Absender:

Der Newsletter wird an euch von Verantwortlichen des Vereins Jugger Vienna gesendet. Diese werden nur in Verbindung zum Turnier 2nd AJO, im Vorfeld und auch nach dem Turnier (Resultate, Fundgrube etc.) versendet.

2nd Austrian Jugger Open / 2nd AJO



Hello fellas
big update coming :-) On we go with a lot informations and some questions we want you to answer.

Please send a reply until 30th June 2018 to vienna@jugger.at concerning the following topics:

1. Is anyone of you skilled in first-aid?

2. Can you bring „Male“/„goals“ to the tournament?

3. How many people are coming?

4. How many of those are vegetarian/vegan?

1. Terms of participation:
People who are over 14 years old are allowed to participate in the tournament. Every participant who is underage has to bring a signed parental consent with them. If we notice that an underaged player is attending without consent, the participant will be disqualified for the rest of the tournament.

Photos and videos of the participants will be taken throughout the tournament. By attending this tournament you accept that this material can and will be shared, displayed and printed on digital and analog media by the organizers. Third parties can share the material by referring to the author.

At the beginning of the tournament there will also be a written consent which has to be signed by each participant. The risk of injury is borne by the participant.


2. Costs:

The team fee (for 5 players) will be announced soon. It will be approximately 11-12 Euros per person. The costs contain the participation fee, camping and food (more on that in the next news).

There is no refund on the team fee after payment. If the payment has not happened until 30th June, teams on hold will get the spot. The participation fee for each additional participant is 12 Euro and has to be paid at arrival / check in.



3. Location & how to get there

The tournament will take place at the pitch of „SC Süßenbrunn“ (Pehamgasse 6, 1220 Vienna, Austria). You can get to the tournament location by taking the fast train to „Süßenbrunn“. From there it is a 12-minute walk. The entrance is on the back side of the pitch.

Infrastructure:
- lawn-pitch

- dressing rooms and showers

- toilets

- parking

- camping (next to the pitch, included in the participation fee!)

- lake (within 5 minutes by foot)

- bbq


Pitch rules:

- studded shoes are allowed

- iron studs are not allowed

- drugs are prohibited

- glas bottles are not allowed

- after 8PM the noise level has to decrease due to the neighbours

19:00-20:30 joint training / exchange of techniques and methods


Saturday 11th August
08:00-08:30 Welcoming

Please make sure we can check your weapons at arrival on Friday.





5. Ruleset

We will play according to the newest German Ruleset from 2018. The download is available in German, English and Spanish via https://www.jugger.org/downloads. If further changes happen we will tell you a few weeks prior to the tournament.

7. Mercenaries & other stuff
If you would like to come to the tournament as a mercenary or are in need of one, there is a sticky note on out tournament Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/events/1842912289116384/). On Saturday we plan to make a BBQ after the games have finished. Apart from that there is a lake within 5 minutes by foot.



8. General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):



a. The 2nd AJO is a noncommercial event. Work is done in our free time. About not sharing your contacts: see below.



b. Stored information:

We only store information that is required for the organization of and communication in connection with the tournament. Therefore, we only request email addresses and names; in certain cases, telephone numbers; others only under circumstances that make it absolutely necessary for organizational purposes. Your address is not given to anyone without your prior consent.



c. Receivers:

Anyone who receives this E-Mail directly from vienna@jugger.at has previous declared that he or she is interested in receiving news about the event. If you didn't do so, then clearly an error occurred and you shouldn't be on the list. Please inform us about that and accept our regrets, while we will delete your information. Of course, anyone can ask for deletion of his or her information we store, with logical results for communication.



d. Sender:

Newsletters are sent to you by Jugger Vienna and their representatives personally, and only. Newsletters are only sent in connection with 2nd AJO. This might be before the event starts, or even after (to report results, point to the lost&found box, etc.).

Wir haben uns gerade dazu entschieden, das Turnier von 12 auf 16 Startplätze zu erweitern :-)

We've just decided to upgrad the tournament from 12 to 16 slots and are happy that 4 more teams can participate in Austria this year!

Important: We need you to write a confimation e-mail to vienna@jugger.at in order to register for the 2nd Austrian Jugger Open. Teams who haven't send a e-mail until April 8th will be placed on hold and other teams will take the place.
